Hello world, the Pendleton Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Range is open for business! The bid for a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved test site was submitted in 2013 as part of the Pan-Pacific UAS Test Range Complex (PPUTRC) and was lead by University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). The FAA announced on December 30th, 2013 that the Alaskan team proposal was a top pick and the Pendleton location was fully approved. The City of Pendleton chose to hire a dedicated team of industry professionals, Peak 3, Inc., to fully identify and develop this unique opportunity. Everyone has been working very hard to get the range stood up and we are now ready for business. Please contact us at Info@PendletonUAS.com so we can understand your needs. The PUR team will continue to develop Pendleton into a premier testing location though its core values of safety and privacy to both its customers and those that enjoy the freedoms of our national airspace system. We look forward to hearing from you!
